Zeneggen — on a mountain terrace at the entrance to the Visp Valley
Zeneggen lies on a sunny plateau high at the entrance to the Visp Valley.
After one of the final bends of the mountain road, a breathtaking view unfolds of the majestic Mischabel range between the Saas and Matter valleys. Opposite Zeneggen, on the other side of the valley, lies Visperterminen with the highest vineyard in Europe. To the east, the gaze sweeps beyond Naters to the music village of Ernen. The panorama is completed by the Bietschhorn towering above the Baltschiedertal to the north and the Wiwanni in the foreground.
The numerous walking trails around Zeneggen cater to all levels. A leisurely stroll through sun-dappled woodlands and fragrant dry meadows — or perhaps a trek through the alpine pastures to the Moosalp and the Augstbordhorn? Pure Valais.
