-Adapter. We are very happy to provide you with an
power plug adapter should you need one.

Breakfast. You will find an opulent breakfast buffet in
the dining room between 7:30 and 10 am. Tea and coffee
will be served.
Blankets. In the wardrobe in your room, you will find
woolen blankets to enable you to enjoy the balcony even
on a cool evening.

Check in. Your room will be ready for you from 1.30 pm.
Check out. We kindly ask you to have left your room by
11am on the day you plan to check out. Cot. Upon request we can put a cot (120 x 60cm) in your
room. There is no extra charge for this service.
Credit cards. You can pay your bill in your prefered way.
Either in cash or using a debit or Postcard. We also
accept VISA and Mastercard.
Charging station for electric cars. You can charge
your electric car in the car park. With the badge that you
receive at reception, you can get electricity at a reduced
rate.

Dinner. Dinner is served at 7 pm. Every evening,
Christoph prepares a varying menu.
Doctor. In case of a severe emergency you can call 0-
144 . The reception will be very happy to contact our GP,
for other treatments or medical advices.
Dogs. Your clean and well behaved „mans best friend“ is
welcome. He does not however have access to the
restaurant where breakfast is served.

 Entrance. We lock the front door at 10 pm. Your room
badge enables you to come and go as you please.

Fire. What to do in the case of a fire?
A: Sound the alarm either with the room phone (91) or
by using the manual alarm button in the corridor.
B: Close all the doors and windows.
C: Exit the building using the emergency exits.
In the case of a fire, we ask you assemble on the car
park. Please orientate yourself using the emerency
escape plan next to the room door.
Fotocopy. Should you need any fotocopies done, please
ask at the reception desk.

Hairdryer. You will find a hairdryer in the wardrobe
ontop of the safe.
Highchair. We have a highchair to make sure that the
little ones feel comfortable at the big ones table.
Hiking maps and information. There is a lot of
information concerning hiking trips in the blue folder in
your room and the correspondance folder laid out in the
restaurant. Furthermore, you will find a selection of
flyers in the foyer as well as a number of maps up for
sale in the display cabinet with the postcards. Hygenic bedcovers. Our pillows and matresses all have
mite and fluid impervious covers to ensure a worry-free
and healthy sleep.
Hygiene items. Toothbrushes and toothpaste,
disposable razors, shaving foam, sunscream, hand cream
and tampons (sanitary pads) are available for purchase
at reception.

Incoming calls. Any calls for you will be put through to
your room.
Internet. There is a computer with internet access in
the „Salon Catherine“ lounge. You also have WLAN at
your disposal, free of charge. The password of quest WIFI
"alpenblick" is:

Ironing. Should you require any garments to be ironed,
you will receive them back within the hour. We can also
supply you with an ironing board and iron, should you
prefer to do it yourself.

Key. With the door badge you can also open the
entrance door. The badge can be hung up at the
reception desk.

Laundry service. Give us your laundry in the laundry
bag and we return it clean, within 24 hours.

Lost property. Please contact us if you have left
something behind and would like us to send it on to you.
Lounge. The Living room „Salon Catherine“, named
after Mrs Katharina Kenzelmann Imesch, is on the first
floor. An ideal place to read ( there is a good selection of
books, magazines, and a collection of articles about the
Valais and it`s traditions and cultural, architectural and
mythiological history.) You will also find a number of
board and card games, including „Jass“ cards, a popular
game in Switzerland. It is also a very pleasant room to
simply sit and chat in. Luggage. You can safely deposite your luggage with
us, should you arrive before 1.30 pm or leave after
11am.
Lunch. At lunchtime you can also eat à la carte. We
offer a selection of snacks, from small to substancial.

Massage. Treat yourself to a massage with Edith

Newspaper. The daily newspaper „Walliser Bote“ is laid
out in the restaurant.
Night bell. Should you find yourself locked out after
hours, please use the nightbell to the right of the front
door.
Non smoking. All our rooms are non smoking rooms.
We would ask you to smoke on the balcony. You will find
an ashtray on the balcony table.

Organisation. The blue folder contains information,
recommendations and hiking trip suggestions to help
make your stay interesting and memorable. You will find
further information in the hotel restaurant and we will, of
course, be pleased to do what we can to help you plan
your stay.

Parking. We have a parking area that is free of charge.
You will find it next to the barn, to the left and right sides
of the road leading to Alt Zeneggen.
Piano. There are 2 pianos to use at your leisure in the
„Salon Catherine“ lounge.
Pillows. Feel free to ask for an extra pillow. We also
have thinner or special neck-support pillows should you
require one. Please ask at the reception desk.
Post. There is a basket on the counter at the reception
desk for any outgoing post. The postman picks it up
every morning between 8 and 9 am.

Raclette. Every tuesday evening we serve the Raclette.
After an vegetable soup and a mixed salad, we serve
Raclettes, that are then followed by a fresh fruit salad to
round up the traditional menue.
Radio. In the channel list of the tv you'll find also
international and national radio channels.
Reception. The reception desk is open from 7 am – 9
pm. Don`t hesitate to ring the brass bell should it be
vacant.

Safe. You will find a safe in your wardrobe that has a key
to lock it. Please deposite your valuables here. Another
possibility is to put your valuables in our care at the
reception desk where we will deposit them in the hotel
safe.
Scales. We will be happy to put a set of scales in your
room, should you wish so.
Shoe cleaning. You will find shoe cleaning utensils in
the cupboard.
Suststainability. Our warm water is heated by the
Valaisain sun using 16 m2 of solar paneling on the hotel
roof. Shop in the village. The village has a little shop that
holds a good selection of groceries and general basics. It
is advisable to order picknick rolls a day in advance.

Technicalities. Should you have any problems with the
television, radio or internet, someone at the reception
desk will be able to help you.
Telephone. All of the rooms have a phone with a tariff
unit counter - if you plan to use it, please let unlock it at
the reception.
You have to dial the 0 to get a free line. If you still get
the engaged tone, the lines are all busy. In this case,
please have a little patience and try again a moment
later.
If you wish to call someone in another hotel room, simply
dial the room number plus 100, for example 103 for
room number 3, 104 for room number 4 etc.
You can get hold of us 24 hours a day with the number
91. Please use this number also in case of fire or other
emergencies.
Television. Please read the instructions on the card
next to the television. This will tell you all you need to
know about how to use the television.
